Where’s My Super Suit?

The Incredibles (2004) is set in a world that has turned against its superheroes due to the collateral damage caused by their crime-fighting escapades. Because of this, Supers are forced to permanently return to their secret identities and abandon all superhero activities. Bob and Helen Parr (formerly known as Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl) and their children — Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack — now live quietly in the suburbs.

Many years later, Mr. Incredible finds himself involved in a mysterious organisation that gives him secret superhero missions, including one to destroy a destructive tripod-like robot, the Omnidroid. Mr. Incredible discovers that this organisation is run by a disaffected former fan whom he had rejected as his sidekick, Buddy Pine. With Pine having adopted the alias of Syndrome, Mr. Incredible and his superfamily must join forces and save the world from his schemes.

In Incredibles 2 (2018), the Parr family face a new threat. Winston Deavor, a telecommunications guru and billionaire, enlists the help of Elastigirl to fight local crime and persuade the public to fall in love with superheroes once again.

With the help of her super-family, Elastigirl must face a new enemy, a cybercriminal named Screenslaver. This new nemesis launches their plan to prevent the return of superheroes by hypnotizing the world through computer screens.

Along the way, these films have introduced fans to various characters, such as the super-suit designer Edna Mode and the super-cool hero Frozone. These individuals have delighted audiences with their hilarious dialogue and one-liners.

The Incredibles (2004) and Incredibles 2 (2018) feature the voices of Craig T. Nelson (Mr. Incredible), Holly Hunter (Elastigirl), Sarah Vowell (Violet), Spencer Fox (Dash), and Samuel L. Jackson (Frozone) — amongst others.
