Based on historical travel time information for every road, specified for every day of the week, at five minute intervals, rather than the traditional static measure of maximum speed per road type, the TomTom GO 940 provides a more accurate measure of journey time. By calculating routes based in this manner, your TomTom can select the optimal route, saving significant time and lowering fuel costs.
Advanced Lane Guidance
A first for the navigation mass market, Advanced Lane Guidance provides drivers with a more realistic view of the road ahead, as well as enhanced visual instructions, ensuring a better representation of the route ahead.

TomTom’s unique Map Share technology enhances your navigation experience, because you can now make instant changes directly on your map. You can also receive similar changes made by the entire TomTom community.
Bluetooth Handsfree Calling

With the 4.3" extra wide touchscreen and enhanced user interface, using the GO 940 provides optimized interactivity.
