William Tauber is a psychology professor drawn into a web of danger and desire from which he cannot escape. Mourning the recent death of his wife, Tauber is easily seduced by the beautiful and mysterious Ali Broussard. Following a chance meeting of unexpected pleasure, he yearns to share her life forever, but is suspicious that she may carry a dark secret.
