Episode One
Sicknote harps on about the dangers of smoking while Blue Watch prepare for A.D.O. Petrei's retirement. Racism rears its ugly head when Blue Watch are called to a hotel fire, started when a guest tries to cook a meal in her room.

Scase shops Malcolm to Tate and Hallam when he discovers one of his practical jokes. Vaseline is summoned to hospital as Marion goes into labour, but then the bells go off and he is called out on a 'shout'.

Panic sets in when Blue Watch are called out to deal with a situation where a nuclear container is leaking fluid.
Episode Four
Josie becomes the first woman to take the Junior Officers course. Blue Watch are forced to race against time to rescue two workers trapped under scaffolding on the banks of the Thames.
Episode Five
Tate faces charges of insubordination, instigated by Scase. A cafe owner deliberately sets fire to his cafe, not knowing that the room upstairs is still occupied.
Episode Six
Sicknote moves in with Charisma, much to his annoyance and Hallam has to testify at the disciplinary hearing of a racially-abusive officer.
Episode Seven
It's nightmare time as Bonfire Night comes around again and Blue Watch have to contend with gang warfare between kids on two rival estates, setting each other's bonfires alight.

Josie worries when Tate tells her she must exert authority in preparation for her Leading Firewoman exams. Tragedy strikes when the team have to rescue the occupants of a van which has rolled off the edge of Surrey Docks.
