Ram (Super Deluxe Edition)
A$233.99
'Ram (Super Deluxe Edition)' is the brilliantly remastered five disc super deluxe edition of the original album 'Ram' by both Paul and Linda McCartney, which was originally released in 1971. This re-release is part of the Paul McCartney archive collection, and was remastered at the legendary and iconic Abbey Road Studios in London.
The album reached the garnered number one spot on the album charts in the UK when it was released, and features the number one single 'Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey'; this gave Paul McCartney his first post-Beatles number one single. The first disc is the original twelve track album itself, whereas the second disc contains eight bonus audio tracks, some of which are previously unreleased ('A Love For You (Jon Kelly Mix)', 'Sunshine Sometime (Earliest Mix)', 'Rode All Night'), amongst other rarities. The third disc is the remastered mono version of the original twelve track album, and the fourth disc is the remastered version of the 'Thrillington' album by Paul McCartney, which was originally released in 1977 and is an instrumental cover version of the album 'Ram'. The fifth disc of the Super Deluxe Edition is a DVD that features previously unreleased and exclusive content and footage, including the original music videos, as well as the brand new 'Ramming' documentary about the album.
This Super Deluxe Edition of the remastered version of the 'Ram' re-release also contains a 112 page book with scrapbook inserts, photo prints, handwritten lyrics, a mini photo book, and more. This box set gives Paul and Linda McCartney fans, both old and new alike, just that little something extra. (Cat Emerson)
