Butchered
John Woo’s director cut clocks in at 3 hours and twenty minutes. Huge action set pieces were taken out of Woo’s film by the hack executives at Paramount bank in the day. Crucial plotting was removed and the public were subjected in watching a two hour turkey. If original three hour twenty minutes cut made it to cinemas the studio would have made over a billion dollars at the world wide box office instead of the smelly odour of a movie released on the sufferings of movie goers infected by Paramount on patrons.
