Great release of an underrated season!
This season often gets a bad rep, but I actually like it a lot. You have classics like Vengeance on Varos and Revelation of the Daleks, alongside other stories that have a lot to like, including Attack of the Cybermen, The Mark of the Rani, and The Two Doctors. Yes it has Timelash, but almost every season has a Timelash. As you can see the artwork is beautiful, so that's a big draw to the set. But if you're wondering whether to upgrade from the DVDs, the new special features are worth it. The in conversations with Colin and Nicola are really insightful and revealing, while Michael Grade has to be seen to be believed There's some new making of docos which fill in the gaps, a new version of a Fix of Sontarans that offers a good alternative to the original given what happened. There's plenty of other stuff too, including new archive material. Overall a great purchase, offering this season a chance to be reevaluated. Even if the stories, tone and TARDIS crew aren't to your taste, the set is packed to the brim with features and awesome artwork. Don't forget the great booklet!
