Picking up exactly where the first film left off, Halloween II follows the same ill-fated characters as they encounter the knife-wielding maniac they left for dead in the first film. The inhuman Michael Myers is still very much alive and out for more revenge as he stalks the deserted halls of the Haddonfield hospital. As he gets closer to his main target, Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasence) discovers the chilling mystery behind the crazed psychopath's actions. Written by John Carpenter and Debra Hill, Halloween II is a spine-tingling dark ride into the scariest night of the year.

Halloween 2 Shines On 4K
Firstly yes,the 4K disc of this shout factory release is region free, the bluray and dvd which are included are region A. Shout Factory have given this film the look it finally deserves, the 4K remaster is stunning, colours pop of the screen with night time scenes looking inky black, there is a touch of grain to the film but you would expect such as it was shot on 35mm. But its the new Dolby Atmos soundtrack that blew me away, the opening theme fills your entire soundstage and there is plenty of surround movement in various parts of the film, bass is good with dialog firmly coming from your centre speaker without bleeding at all to the surrounds. If your a true Halloween fan then add this to your collection and oh yes make sure you watch the film in Dolby Vision, its a remarkable 4K presentation.
